It has been a long time coming, about 3 months behind schedule, but now it’s here, the latest version of boardyUK. Once again however the site is not 100% complete, but then again when is a site 100% complete?

I’ve managed to get a new look going with the site, yes again it’s purple before someone comments on that. Here’s a list of some of  the main changes I’ve made to the system -

1. Changed framework from Zend as it was too slow
2. Commenting system complete
3. DVD and Blu-Ray searching in testing stage
4. New look homepage with some feeds from other sections

There’s still some things I would like to add in, which will come in the near future -

1. Twitter feed and update from this site (started)
2. last.fm feed for my last 5-10 songs played (started)
3. Image galleries (planning)
4. Article system (planning)

Well for now I’ll leave it at that and update once everything has settled down, I still have DNS migrating across to the new server so not every part of this site is viewable from everywhere yet.
